How RealGram Protects Your Privacy

How RealGram Protects Your Privacy

We said in Why Internet Freedom Matters that trust has to be earned by architecture, not by a privacy-policy paragraph. Here's what that actually means for RealGram, concretely.

Nothing the client says about your balance is trusted

Your REAL balance, XP, and rewards are never numbers the app itself is allowed to decide. Every credit — watching a rewarded video, referring a friend, finishing a Shahnameh chapter — is confirmed server-side before it counts. The app displays a result; it doesn't get to invent one. That single rule closes off an entire category of privacy and integrity problems: there's no local cache of "your data" sitting on the device that a client-side bug, a tampered build, or a malicious fork could quietly rewrite.

One identity instead of six fragmented ones

Every part of RealGram — Messages, Shahnameh, REAL Wallet, Clan, Hakim AI — reads from the same REAL-ID, not six separate account systems each holding a partial copy of who you are. Fewer places your data lives means fewer places it can leak from, and no cross-app data-sharing agreements needed to make features work together — there's one account to protect, not a federation of them.

Independent means independent

RealGram is its own client. It isn't a reskin of another platform, and it doesn't answer to one. That matters for privacy specifically because it means your activity inside RealGram doesn't become a data point inside some other company's advertising system by default — the economics of RealGram (REAL, referrals, Premium) are designed to work on their own, not by selling attention to a third party.

What we don't claim

We'd rather be precise than reassuring: this page won't tell you RealGram invented some unique cryptographic breakthrough. What it will tell you is that the reward economy is server-verified end to end (not client-trusted), that identity is unified rather than fragmented, and that the app is independently built. Those are checkable architectural facts, not marketing language — which is exactly the distinction the first article in this series was making.
